Data we collect

When you install TagPilot, we access the following Shopify data through the Shopify API:

• Store information (shop domain, name)
• Product data (titles, prices, inventory levels, tags, vendors, types)
• Order data (order counts, revenue — only for sales-based tagging rules, Pro plan only)

We do not collect any personal data from your customers. We do not access customer names, emails, addresses, or payment information.

How we use your data

We use the data exclusively to:

• Evaluate your tagging rules against product attributes
• Apply and remove tags on your products as configured
• Display execution logs within the app
• Manage your subscription and billing through Shopify's billing API

Data storage

We store the following data in our database: your shop domain, tagging rules, conditions, and execution logs. Execution logs are automatically deleted after the retention period defined by your plan (3 days for Free, 90 days for Pro). All data is stored on infrastructure operated by Render Services, Inc.

Data sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the TagPilot service.

Data deletion

When you uninstall TagPilot, all your data (rules, conditions, execution logs, and shop information) is automatically deleted from our database.

Cookies

TagPilot does not use cookies. Authentication is handled entirely by Shopify's embedded app framework.

GDPR compliance
